Adopt a Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair Cat

Virginia the Cat needs a home

My name is Virginia - I am a pretty tuxedo girl, with super soft fur! I came to caws as a young mama with my 5 kittens, who have all been adopted into their forever homes. Now, it's my turn to be somebody's baby! I'm very laid back and loving! Most of the time, I do my own thing - I like to climb up high to sit and watch things, stretch out in a sunny spot or just snooze in your spot on the bed. UNTIL I decide it's time for loves! Then I will seek you out - sometimes I will call to you to find you and then it is all about your love and attention! I love my head and under my chin scratched - which always leads to me flopping over for belly rubs. I am young and still love to play with toys - I roll around and chase cat toys with the best of them! I love food - and I suppose I could use a little trimming down. Set mealtimes will be best for me - even though I will lead you to my food dish often. ;) I prefer my own company to the company of other cats - but, I can live with another cat who will give me my space, Dogs are ok - kids are great. If you want a mellow, loving, beautiful kitty - come meet me! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application
